Introduction
The Interactive LED Panels are Open Source modules which illuminate when an object or hand passes over the self calibrating infra-red sensors. The LEDs then fade according to a pre-set pattern which can be programmed using the Arduino IDE.
Applications
Applications of these Panels are as follows:
- Interactive Bar tables
- Interactive Home tables
- Stairs that light up at night
- Music Interface
- Dance Floors
Patterns
Modes that are Included:
- Ripple
- Slow Fade
- Reverse Fade
- Sparkle
- Instant
- Instant (fast)
- Power requirements per board: 5V, 120mA / Consumes almost nothing when LEDs are all off.
- Maximum Number of interconnected boards per power supply: 8 Boards
- Maximum Number of interconnected boards: 1000+ Boards
- Maximum Current per 8 boards: 3 Amps
- Maximum Infra-red Sensor Distance: 20-25 cm
- Software IDE: Arduino
- LED Type: SMD and Through Hole
- Can work through Translucent/frosted Glass (Auto Calibrating)
Other Info
Panels are in the beta stage. With enough funding, boards will be sold as a complete product as well be implemented into furniture to make them interactive.
did these ever get funded and are you sharing the circuit design if not got funding great work
